Lesley Nakonechny is a graphic designer and mixed media artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She graduated from the Graphic Design Diploma program from Red River College in 2004.
Artistically, she has shown locally and internationally in group shows. Lesley’s art practice focuses on themes of nature, prairie plants, and science. Her artwork has been featured on the Manitoba Fishing Licence (2012), and currently visible as part of the Urban Art Gallery at Portage Place Mall in downtown Winnipeg.
Lesley is currently collaborating with Dr. Michael F. Jackson an Alzheimer’s researcher from the University of Manitoba, Department of Pharmacology to create art inspired by the brain.
